End-User License Agreement

Effective Date: May 2, 2026

This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you and The Horizon Project regarding the use of the hardware components (ink cartridges) and any embedded software (smart chips) provided by hprintsweb.site.

1. Grant of License

  • The Horizon Project grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the embedded firmware and smart chip technology strictly for the purpose of enabling communication between the ink cartridge and your compatible printer.

  • This license is intended for your personal or internal business use only and does not grant any rights to the underlying intellectual property of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

2. Use Restrictions

  • You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the smart chips or firmware provided with our premium refurbished cartridges.

  • The products are designed for use with specific hardware series, such as the i-Series, Pix-Series, EcoTank, and WorkForce systems, and should not be used in non-compatible devices.

3. Ownership

  • All rights, titles, and interests in the product model designations and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

  • The Horizon Project is an independent entity and is not affiliated with or endorsed by these trademark holders.

4. Firmware Updates

  • You acknowledge that printer manufacturers may occasionally release firmware updates intended to restrict the use of non-original or refurbished cartridges.

  • While we strive for 100% “plug-and-play” recognition, The Horizon Project is not responsible for functionality issues caused by OEM-initiated software changes after the date of purchase.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • In no event shall The Horizon Project be liable for any incidental or consequential damages to your printing hardware arising from improper installation or use of our compatible products.

  • Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the replacement of the product or a refund of the purchase price, as outlined in our Returns & Refund Policy.

6. Termination

  • This license terminates automatically if you fail to comply with the terms of this Agreement.

  • Upon termination, you must cease all use of the product and its embedded technology.
